Bond-funded upgrades and design work for several replacement schools and the new Vancouver iTech Preparatory building are making daily progress throughout the district. Nearly 40 high school seniors have been nominated for the Marshall Youth Leadership Award, given by the Fort Vancouver National Trust. The award honors Clark County's high school seniors who exemplify the leadership of the award's namesake, General George C. Marshall.
Vancouver Public Schools is one of 30 districts nationwide and one of just three Washington districts to receive District Administration magazine’s District of Distinction award.
Vancouver iTech Preparatory has received the Washington State Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development's Student Engagement Award for 2015.
