Nominees, finalists announced for 2016 Marshall Youth Leadership Award

Nearly 40 high school seniors have been nominated for the Marshall Youth Leadership Award, given by the Fort Vancouver National Trust. The award honors Clark County's high school seniors who exemplify the leadership of the award's namesake, General George C. Marshall.

Vancouver Public Schools is one of 30 districts nationwide and one of just three Washington districts to receive District Administration magazine’s District of Distinction award.

Teachers earn national certification

Four Vancouver Public Schools teachers earned National Board Certification in 2014, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare students for 21st-century careers.
