Dear Raven Families,
We wanted to reach out as we are nearing the end of the school year and give you some information on the next two weeks. We also wanted to let you know that we recognize that these are very trying times for us all. One of our strengths as a learning community at iTech is that meet challenges together, listen to one another, support one another and grow together. If you are in need of support, need to process, or just need to talk know that you can always reach out to teachers, counselors and any staff. We are here for you and we will continue to learn and grow together.
As you know we have two weeks left in the 20-21 school year. I also wanted to recognize that today is that last day for our seniors. Many of them have been with us for the past 7 years and in conversations with many of them in the past few weeks I have been reminded of how much of an impact they have had on the development and growth of iTech. They will truly leave a legacy. Please know that you are welcome to join us virtually in celebrating them on Tuesday June 9th at 6:00. Links for watching the celebration will be on our website.
I have been so impressed with the commitment, dedication and flexibility of both students and staff in this distance learning period. We recognize that it is not an ideal situation but as always the iTech community has made the best of it! Thank you for all that you have done to help support our students in this distance learning time. We will be sending out a survey to gather you thoughts, ideas and feedback about this distance learning period so that we can continue to reflect, grow and improve to better serve our students and community. Be looking for that next week.
Just a reminder that the last day of school is June 19th. The last day to address old standards is June 12th. As always if you need additional time, work with your teacher prior to the 12th to discuss options.
