We wanted to remind you that there are new Covid guidelines going into effect tomorrow March 12th. You can find more information on the district website here. One of those changes is to masking requirements. Information from the district website is below.
- Masks and face coverings: Masks/face coverings are optional in school buildings and on buses. People may always continue wearing masks or face coverings if they would like to do so. We will respect individual choices regarding masks.
- Masks/face coverings may be required in some situations such as after isolation due to a positive COVID-19 test or as the result of an outbreak.
- Masks will be required in school health rooms as these are considered health care settings.
We wanted to reiterate that as masks become optional, we will respect each student’s choice to wear or not wear a mask. We expect students to do the same and practice kindness and acceptance of one another.
