Hello Ravens,
We are coming up on our last set of testing dates with the spring iReady testing. In order to ensure that students have an equitable opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge we are going to be running our 2 Hour Testing / Work Session schedule (bottom of page five) from Tuesday May 31st – Friday June 3rd.
This week was chosen as it is shorter with no “C Day,” and is the week before the semester ends. This gives our high school students some extra work time to complete/catch up on the work needed in classes before the semester ends.
During the testing time 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be in their Advo classrooms completing the iReady assessment (Advo/Testing/Lunch Presentation). As middle school students complete their testing they will then be able to also have work time to complete/readdress work as needed before the semester ends.
We will be splitting up the 8th and 9th grade Advos so that testing and work sessions can occur.
High school teachers can run some extended and targeted Raven Revision help sessions this entire week. As the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders finish we can adjust classrooms so that middle school teachers can also have that opportunity. I have marked out the main Raven Revision sheet for this week and linked in a new sheet to show the new classes for the 8th and 9th graders.
