Women in Engineering (WIE) Day

10:00 a.m. – noon (PST)

Both sessions will be held remotely via Zoom. Register here. Attend both sessions  and be eligible for a scholarship toward a University of Idaho undergraduate degree in engineering.

WIE Day is a FREE virtual workshop for all students, held in two short sessions designed to build on your student’s existing interest in math and science.  Students will learn more about what engineers do and how to take the skills they already have and turn them into successful college experiences and future careers!

  • Participate in a hands-on, team-based design activity, mentored and delivered remotely, that makes engineering, computer science and design concepts fun and easy to understand
  • EARN A SCHOLARSHIP toward a U of I undergraduate degree in engineering
  • ENGAGE WITH CURRENT WOMEN STUDENTS AND INDUSTRY LEADERS through discussions and breakout sessions
  • GAIN CAREER INFO and insight into the many engineering degree paths at the University of Idaho!
