I am the Career Guidance Counselor, Career Choices Teacher, Partnership and Magnet Coordinator at iTech Preparatory! It is exciting to work with students, staff, and community organizations to support iTech students in identifying and planning steps to realize their educational and professional goals after high school. I am committed to helping each student explore and prepare for their unique goals, whether it be attending college, joining the military, completing an apprenticeship program or training for their future career!
Growing up in Vancouver was an awesome experience and I graduated from Heritage High School. Then, I spent two years at Eastern Washington University and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University Vancouver (Go COUGS!) and am nearly finished with my Master’s in Public Affairs. I worked as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions at WSU Vancouver for nearly eight years, but I also served two years in Ukraine as an English Teacher as a Peace Corps Volunteer – where I was able to implement grant programs with the United States Agency for International Development to improve the educational conditions and teaching methodologies. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and am learning how to golf!
