I was born and raised in Portland, OR, and graduated from David Douglas High School. I attended University of Oregon for my undergraduate studies (GO DUCKS!) majoring in Family and Human Services. I completed my Masters of Education in School Counseling at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Before becoming a school counselor I worked as a victim advocate for teens as well as a drug and alcohol counselor for adjudicated youth. These experiences ignited my passion for social justice as well as emphasized the importance of community engagement for all students. I am trained in the ASCA national Model and will use data driven practices to promote success for our students.
