We will provide a comprehensive financial aid presentation for high school seniors and their families preparing them for the 2019-20 aid year. Juniors and younger are welcome to attend, but the presentation will be geared towards seniors. We will present on the overall financial aid process, including the 2019-20 FAFSA and the federal and state financial aid options that come from filing a FAFSA or an ORSAA (financial aid application for OR non-citizens). We will discuss Oregon and Washington state specific scholarship applications, provide some tips and tricks to applying for private scholarships, and answer any and all questions along the way.
We ask that students and their families RSVP: www.up.edu/finaid/RSVP. The RSVP has a campus map for those unfamiliar with North Portland and the UP campus. Also, within the RSVP is the following question: “The Office of Admissions is going to offer a limited number of University of Portland campus tours after the event. Are you interested in participating?” We are excited to offer this opportunity to interested students and their families.
